Who we are

Our Story

300 Trees was originally founded to save 300 trees that were threatened by a project in Bellevue. Although we were not successful in that effort, we were subsequently inspired to help rebuild the Eastside’s tree canopy by planting new trees.

We started in partnership with Bellevue and other partners to enhance our community and the environment by giving away trees and working on tree canopy expanding projects with schools and other organizations. We continue to be dedicated to this work.

Over the years we have developed a professional “Tree Giveaway In A Box” offering that enables more cities and organizations to hold their own tree giveaway events. If you are interested in holding a tree giveaway, or need to conduct your giveaway more efficiently and effectively, please contact us.

We remain a 100% volunteer organization. All work and product development are donated by our Board, Team Members and volunteers. Our goal is to leave the Eastside, and King County, as beautiful as we found it to delight future generations.
